Karmine Corp Close to Joining LEC, Confirms Owner Kameto

Karmine Corp is reportedly close to joining the LEC, a major step for the French esports organization.

During the KCorp vs The World event, Karmine Corp's owner, Kameto, stated that the organization has "never been so close" to joining the LEC ( League of Legends European Championship). The negotiations for a slot in the competitive league are intensively underway.

KCorp's Popularity

Karmine Corp (KCorp) holds a significant following in the French esports scene, enough to compete with LEC viewership through its French broadcast. However, the majority of their content and following is French, forming a language barrier for the English-speaking consumer base.

Questions surround the potential move, such as which current team's slot KCorp would take and whether the full roster would transition into the LEC. KCorp's proposed roster raises even more questions. For example, ADC Caliste, a promising young player, would be unable to join due to the LEC's age restriction (18 years and above). Regardless, KCorp's entrance to the LEC would considerably elevate the European league.

While the LEC deal remains uncertain, KCorp continues to expand, constructing an impressive esports arena. Their absence from next year's LEC wouldn't hinder KCorp's rapid growth in the esports scene.
