Bethesda's RPGs: Immersive Universes and Dynamic Storytelling
Bethesda's RPGs, renowned for their expansive, immersive universes, vibrant non-player characters (NPCs), and quest lines that adapt to an individual's decisions, is once again showcasing this feature with their newest release, Starfield, a science fiction RPG. This highly acclaimed game allows its players to explore various stars and planetary systems.
Character Customization in Starfield
Like its preceding Bethesda releases, Starfield allows the customization of characters according to a player's preference. Players can distribute skill points into different categories as they level up. Traits, however, are different. They can only be chosen when a character is first created, adding positives and negatives to the character's profile. A player can only select 3 traits for their character, requiring thoughtful selection. Nonetheless, an exceptionally useful trait has been discovered for those intending to gaslight NPCs across the universe.
The Power of Dialogue: Humorous Encounters in Starfield
An individual known online as u/EarlGrey_Picard discovered one of Starfield's most humorous dialogues options when they chose the Extrovert trait. This dialogue allows them to gaslight officers from the United Colonies, who accuse them of suspicious activities. Despite being confronted, Picard used their Extrovert trait to tactfully maneuver the conversation, leaving the officer utterly perplexed.
With the sheer wit of lines such as 'I don't match the description. You match the description,' and 'No, you match the description,' Picard successfully baited the NPC to such a degree that it ceased its search entirely, allowing them to easily evade the law.
